Synopsis

Following on from the success of Glasgow on a Plate 1 and 2, Edinburgh on a Plate, and Scotland on a Plate, Black and White Publishing has turned its attention to Manchester, one of the coolest cities in the UK and a city with some of the hottest culinary venues to be found anywhere in the country. Manchester on a Plate is a colourful cookery book packed full with recipes from the very best chefs in Manchester's thriving, multi-cultural restaurant scene. Each of the chefs and chef/proprietors featured in Manchester on a Plate share the secrets of their success, and provide recipes for four of their favourite dishes. Every recipe is accompanied by a full-colour photograph and step-by-step instructions, but if you don't feel like cooking, you can always treat yourself to a visit to the restaurants to enjoy their superb cuisine and find out more about the chefs and their approach to cooking in Manchester.
