Jeff Evans is the author of 30 books, including The Penguin TV Companion (‘a masterpiece of trivia’ – The Times) and a definitive history of Rock & Pop on British TV. He was editor of CAMRA’s national Good Beer Guide for eight editions, writes questions for television quiz shows, including Mastermind, and was one half of the British national Quiz Pairs champions in 2016. Born in South Wales, Jeff lives in Newbury, Berkshire.
