Rolland & Heidi Baker arrived in Mozambique in 1995 and began to
pour out their hearts to 80 orphaned children. Amazing miracles began to
take place and a revival began to break out, despite intense resistance.
Today IRIS have 7 bases in Mozambique and others in Malawi, South Africa
and India. Heidi and her apostolic teams are seeing approximately 1,000
people saved every week and countless healings and miracles continue to
take place daily. IRIS has planted more than 6,000 churches in Mozambique
in six years. Both Heidi and Rolland hold PhDs, but the focus of their
ministry is the simplicity and power of the Gospel to meet the needs of the
desperate and hungry.
