His groundbreaking two-part biography FDR, Roosevelt: The Lion and the Fox and Roosevelt: The Soldier of Freedom won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. Susan Dunn is Professor of Literature and the History of Ideas at Williams College. She is the author of The Deaths of Louis XVI: Regicide and the French Political Imagination and Sister Revolutions: French Lighting, American Light.
