Chuck Liddell first stepped in to the Octagon in 1998 and became the UFC's light-heavyweight champion in 2005, a title he held for two years. He lives and trains in California.

Chad Millman, a deputy editor at ESPN the Magazine, is the author of The Detonators and The Odds and co-author of Invincible and Pick-up Artists. He lives in New Jersey with his family.
