The king of B-movies, Corman directed about 50 movies between 1954 and 1970, including The Little Shop of Horrors, The Masque of the Red Death, a Bucket of Blood and Attack of the Crab Monster, and influenced such A-list directors as Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Ron Howard and Francis Ford Coppola. This book traces Corman's career through the exploitation movie industry and reviews all of his films. It also examines films he produced, and provides biographies of all the actors and filmmakers whose work with Corman acted as a springboard to stardom.
