À propos de l'auteur

Robert Richardson, the son of a Scottish surgeon and general practitioner, was educated at Tonbridge School and Brasenose College, Oxford. A few years after qualifying from the Middlesex hospital he decided his interest lay in the printed word and, after a spell as editor for a medical publisher, he became a freelance medical editor working mainly on journals and conference reports. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the West Sussex History of Medicine Society. He lives in Kent.
