Part of the "Accelerate" series, "Super Structures" describes world-famous, human-built structures from the Great Pyramid at Giza to the International Space Station. Different construction techniques and types of building materials are discussed, and it shows how buildings and their uses have changed through time. The book offers a split page presentation which creates some interesting changes of scene, including some before and after construction pictures.
