Infected Landscape ist Shai Kremer s schmerzendes Porträt der militärischen Entstellung der Landschaft in Israel. Trennungsmauern, Trainingslager, Panzergräben, Landebahnen und deren Ruinen sind Zeichen der Okkupation. Die Landschaft wird für ihn und den Betrachter der Fotos zu einem Fokus , um die Situation zu verstehen. Dabei entstehen radikal schöne und allegorische Bilder Shai Kremer, geboren 1974 in Israel lebt in Tel Aviv und New York. Based in New York and Tel Aviv, Shai Kremer has exhibited internationally with shows in the USA, China, and throughout Europe. A finalist in both the 2007 Sante Fe Prize and the 2007 HSBC Award, his work has also been published widely including in the New York Times
