UK Taxation for Students is primarily geared to students studying for the ACCA and CAT qualification whether full or part time. In addition, it is highly likely that it would be of interest to students studying for other professional qualifications including ACA, CIMA, Institute of Taxation, and Institute of Bankers and for any students where the computational (rather than the legal) aspects of taxation are a key area of taxation study. It requires no previous knowledge of tax. The third edition has been revised to take account of the UK Tax Law Rewrite Project and the change of terminology as a result of ITEPA 2003 and ITTOIA 2005. Malcolm Finney is founder of the tax and management training and consultancy firm Management Dynamics. He was formerly Head of International Taxation at the international accountancy firm Grant Thornton and Head of Taxation at the London based law firm Nabarro Nathanson.
