Synopsis

Walter Smith is arguably the greatest Rangers manager of all time, delivering an unparalleled level of success in two spells which covered just over 11 years. Using official photographs and a series of exclusive interviews, this book takes you to the heart of the man who is revered by Rangers supporters all over the world. Smith talks extensively about joining Rangers under Graeme Souness, his proudest moment when he was made boss and why he simply could not turn down the chance to return in 2007 to replace Paul Le Guen. He also gives revealing thoughts on star signings Brian Laudrup and Paul Gascoigne, the amazing European runs of 1992/93 and 2007/08 and why he was thrilled to hand over the reins to Ally McCoist.
