Jenni Trent Hughes realised quite a few years ago that her life's calling was to help people enjoy a better quality of life. She has enjoyed careers as varied as geophysical technician for an oil company, corporate executive, painter, writer but now she focuses on showing people how to be happy. She has been, and continues to be agony aunt for several magazines and internet sites. She has already published a book on difficult conversations and contributes regularly to magazines and newspapers. Jenni will be familiar to many of you from her extensive work in television from series like Perfect Match and Loose Women to Toddler-Taming and This Morning. She is a regular on Grumpy Old Women though she is neither grumpy nor old as you will surely have realised by now. Jenni also produces programmes for BBC Radio 4 on subjects as diverse as men's relationships with their fathers; to how people regard their passages through the decades of life. Her passions are travel, reading and music though she is considering giving it all up to move to Egypt and become a quadbiking instructor. She lives in London with her son Jack and hopes that someday he will make someone a lovely husband.
