This is a comprehensive biography of Scotland's Poet Laureate, Edwin Morgan. Written by Morgan's close friend and colleague at Glasgow University, James McGonigal, with the poet's full permission and cooperation.

James McGonigal was until recently a lecturer in English at the University of Glasgow. He has for many years been a close friend and confident of the poet, as well as being an accomplished poet himself. Edwin Morgan is cooperating closely with the author in the preparation of this book.
