Hugh Lupton has worked as a professional storyteller for seventeen years. He has a particular passion for Greek, Celtic, Norse and Anglo-Saxon mythological tales, for ballads and for stories of his native East Anglia. He has worked with Barefoot Books on a number of award-winning projects, including The Story Tree, Tales of Wisdom and Wonder, and The Adventures of Odysseus. Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress, who studied at the prestigious Academy of Fine Art in Paris. Her brightly coloured illustrations and quirky style are world-renowned and have graced the pages of several other Barefoot books including Journey Home from Grandpa's ,The Farmyard Jamboree, The Story Tree, Babushka and My Daddy is a Pretzel. Sophie lives in Florence.
