Set in Alder Hey Hospital it s the tale of a magical world encountered by the author when he was a boy spent at the hospital and he whiles away many an hour reading comics brought to him at visiting times by his mum. Billy flies on his hospital bed to meet unicorns, giants, fairies and wizards he even lifts the legendary Excalibur. The magic Locker is aimed at all children but in particular offers a helping, guiding hand to youngsters who may be finding it difficult to cope with illness either at home or in hospital. Children can use their imaginations to visit the land of the Magic Locker, taking them out of the physical environment and into a world of make-believe and magic.

Billy Roberts, one time 60s musician, has been a professional medium for 25 years. He is well known at home and abroad on television and across many newspapers. His book Spooky Liverpool was a spirited look at ghostly goings on in his home town.
