Revue de presse

Lucas's poems have the essential timbre of integrity and humanity, they are a declaration of what life should be and there's a quiet gratitude beneath the satire and the irony, the word-play and knotty syntax... A keen-eyed and sharp-eared poet. --Graham Mort, Poetry Wales

If it is the business of poetry to open doors, this is poetry that does the business. --Eddie Wainwright, Envoi

Lucas has a fine ear, a keen sense of humour, and a highly distinctive, relaxed yet precise style... This is an allusive, literate yet very accessible poet. --Alexis Lykiard, Poetry Quarterly Review
