Award-winning photographer Nancy Honey invited each of these Leading Ladies to choose a place where she goes for inspiration for her portrait setting. This gives the viewer further insight into the lives, personalities and character of these admirable women. Interviewed by former Times journalist Hattie Garlick, each woman, in her own words, shares valuable advice and personal reflection.

Nancy Honey is known for her personal projects which focus on different aspects of being a woman. Her work is in many public and private collections and she has been published and exhibited internationally as well as having received numerous awards, commissions and prizes. She was a Fellow of Photography at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television. Her previous monographs are 'Woman to Woman', 'Entering the Masquerade', and 'Poodle Parlour'.
