This is a comprehensive and informative book which would also act as a useful refresher for qualified staff as well as health care students. I particularly like the activities which challenge student thinking but it is excellent that the answers have also been provided so the students can have feedback on how they performed. It is a well written book that follows a logical sequence, reinforcing and restating that HAI is potentially life threatening. Students who read this book will have a clear understanding of how to prevent cross contamination in all areas of clinical practice.
