About the Author
Tim Gent has lived an outdoor life since childhood, working in farming, forestry conservation, and archaeology. A passionate paddler and camper, he has travelled from Arctic Scandinavia to the Mediterranean coast, writing about fishing, hillwalking, canoeing, and camping since 1990. A regular contributor to Canoe and Kayak UK, Bushcraft and Survival Skills, and The Great Outdoors, Tim is also the author of Campfire Cooking and Dartmoor Walking and Camping (Pesda Press). He lives in Devon, England, between Dartmoor and the Atlantic coast.
