About the Author
Tim Gent grew up on a farm and has spent a lifetime exploring the outdoors. With a background in forestry conservation and archaeology, he brings a deep understanding of nature to his writing. A regular contributor to leading outdoor magazines, Tim is also the author of Canoe Camping (Pesda Press, 2014) and Dartmoor Walking and Camping (Pesda Press 2022). He lives in Devon, England, between Dartmoor and the Atlantic coast, where he continues to write, camp, and cook under the stars.
