Synopsis
London Deep was chosen as a Recommended Read for World Book Day 2011 and as one of Manchester's 24 recommended reads for 2010 London Deep is set in the future, in a flooded London - where rival police forces for kids and adults compete to keep the peace. Half book, half graphic-novel, it has illustrations and strips by artist Paul McGrory on every page. Jemima Mallard is having a bad day. First she loses her air, then two kids sink her houseboat, and now the YPD (Youth Police) think she's mixed up with a criminal called Father Thames. Not even her dad, a Chief Inspector with the Dult Police, can help her out this time. Oh and London's still sinking. It s been underwater ever since the climate upgrade.

À propos de l?auteur
Robin Price is the author of the Spartapuss series and the graphic novel/novella London Deep. He's also involved in children's theatre, having co-wrote songs for Tall Stories in their brilliant musical adaptations of Julia Donaldson's classics The Gruffalo, and Room on the Broom and well as the award-winning picture book Something Else. He's also scripted a comic-based adventure game illustrated by Craig Conlan. Robin is busy editing a new series of Roobarb and Custard books for Mogzilla, and touring the UK giving children's creative writing workshops based on Roman history. Paul McGrory is a Liverpool-born illustrator who studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London. London Deep is Paul's first book project.
