'Blinkered' is a compelling tale of crime and competition in the Caribbean. British entrepreneur Cayden Callejon believes he can remain in control in the run up to the launch of superyacht Blade. As the pressure builds, he tries to go it alone - spurning the help of Sly Williams, a sensual Homeland Security Agent. Lancelot Bumbles Winston is a Detective Inspector in Trinidad. Apathy and disillusionment have gradually destroyed his career. Kidnap and murder are set to transform the lives of both men as they grapple with love, guilt and humiliation. A horrific spiral of violence and deceit leads them to understand that success is no protection from evil.
Simon Gray is British and was born in 1963. He was educated in South Africa, and travelled the world as a Yacht Master and enthusiastic entrepreneur, establishing businesses in the United States and the UK, some of which succeeded, some didn't. He was married once; to a girl he met while sailing the Caribbean. He now lives in the Surrey Hills, south of London. 'Blinkered' is his first novel.
