Weird and Gilly have spent over two decades researching the life of unsung hero, guitarist Mick Ronson. Meeting as teenagers in a graphic arts program the authors bonded over David Bowie records. Since then, they have remained very active in the music and arts community; traveling, writing, collecting and managing independent music stores. After first meeting Ronson in 1988, the Cleveland based duo have documented his musical career in print, in photographs and on the web. The entire Ronson family and many of Mick's closest friends have shown their utmost support based on the writers extraordinary passion for their subject. Weird and Gilly are professional fans, possessing the knowledge and spirit that one might expect coming from the home of rock 'n' roll.
