Rose Elliot MBE, Britain's foremost vegetarian cookery writer, has made a lasting contribution to the way in which vegetarian cookery has developed. She has won popular acclaim for her books all over the world and introduced many thousands of people to the delights of vegetarian food. Rose has over sixty books to her name, including the Bean Book, Vegetarian Supercook, Sumptuous Suppers and her fully updated best-selling classic, the New Complete Vegetarian.

A very popular demonstrator, Rose has appeared many times on radio and television, contributes to magazines and newspapers and writes a regular column in the monthly vegetarian magazine, Cook Vegetarian. In 1999 Rose received the MBE from the Queen for services to vegetarian cookery.
