À propos de l'auteur

Martin Dunford is one of the founders of the international travel guide series Rough Guides and has worked in travel publishing for most of his working life. He is the author of more than 10 guidebooks and was the publisher of Rough Guides for many years, before going on to found the Cool Places website which features thousands of places to stay in te UK as well as interesting things to do. While Rough Guides is a well-established travel brand, Cool Places is the more recent digital upstart devoted to celebrating the UK s best independently-owned accommodation, from the best boutique hotels and cosiest B&Bs to glamorous glamping, the coolest hostels and most remote self-catering retreats. Jules Brown has been travelling and writing professionally since he published his first travel guide to Scandinavia in 1988. Since then he has written Rough Guides to Sicily, Hong Kong, Barcelona, Washington DC, Portugal, Spain and England, and contributed to many others. He has also written widely for newspapers, magazines, blogs and websites, and is a consultant for the best-of-UK-travel website Cool Places. Jules' first collection of travel stories and experiences 'Takoradi to the stars (via Huddersfield)' is now available as an e-book. Jules currently lives in Yorkshire, is a football fan and still harbours an ambition to one day play for Huddersfield Town...
