The Russian Army crossed the border into Hungary in 1942 from Ukraine, and Gábor along with a friend, one of the Bánffy family from Transylvania, escaped across the border into Austria. In Budapest Gábor had met Donegal TD Brian Brady [1903 - 1949; he is buried in Killybegs]. He it was who accompanied two and a half tons of food, which was a gift from the Irish people to the people of Hungary. Gábor got his Irish visa and arrived in Ireland. Rosemary Doyle was born in 1933 in a house opposite the University in Cork, and in 1956 Rosa married her Hungarian Baron. They lived and worked in Peru before returning to Ireland and established a dairy farm and pedigree Friesian herd at Newtown Donore Co. Kildare. Travels to Visegrád, Eger, Esztergom.
