Synopsis

What would you do if you discovered you had a long lost sister who had been adopted soon after birth? Would you go looking for her? This is the dilemma that Anne Fothergill and her sister Elizabeth face when they uncover their mother’s secret after her death. The baby’s name is Eileen and the siblings make the decision to find her – but it is a search which is to take them thirty four years and to the other side of the world. When all three sisters eventually meet they embark upon a journey of discovery. They walk in the footsteps of a mother none of them know much about, a mother who had abandoned them. Should Anne and Elizabeth tell Eileen the truth about their mother and the circumstances surrounding her arrival into the world? Finding Eileen wasn’t the end, it was just the beginning. This is a true story.
