Daniel Butler edits Tree News, the in-house magazine for the Tree Council, and is the author of Urban Dreams, Rural Realities. Foreword: Simon Toomer is Director of Westonbirt National Arboretum in Gloucestershire. He has worked at this magnificent Forestry Commission arboretum for the past 10 years. He originally trained in environmental biology and forestry, and previously worked as a practical forester, woodlands advisor and arboriculturalist.
