A propos du livre

Présentation de l'éditeur

Andy Abraham Remember When... is a unique deluxe 96-page padded hardback book featuring the brand-new twelve track album from British pop music's favourite soul superstar. This lavishly illustrated book tells Andy's fascinating life story through the musical influences that shaped his legendary voice and the songs that have been etched in his memories forever. From his behind the scenes experience on the X Factor and the Eurovision Song Contest, to his Platinum and Gold selling albums and his three U.K. tours, Andy Abraham is a man with an amazing story to tell. In this groundbreaking combination of book and twelve-track album he tells the fascinating roller-coaster story of the man behind the voice in the way that comes naturally: through the songs that have made him the man, and the artist, he is today. I didn't just want to do a collection of any old covers it had to be a collection of songs that were very important to me. Each one brings back specific memories memories of growing up, people that have gone, people that are still here, people that I love and artists that have inspired and shaped me as a singer and as a human being. This is music that has made me conscious of the world and touched me in a way that makes me want to own each and every one of the songs that I sing. The first ten songs on this album, the cover versions, are songs of my soul. Rather than just singing the songs and leaving you to guess how and why they might be important to me, I wanted to have the space to explain why they are very special.
