Jenny is the tale of an eight year old girl who has a secret... she is not an average eight year old. In fact, Jenny is a Werewolf hunting eight year old... While staring out of the window one night, Little Jenny got the most awful fright she was sure that she saw, from the corner of her eye a great big hairy, scary guy. With claws and fangs, and eyes that glowed red It could be a vampire, or maybe one of the un-dead? The Tiny Twisted Tales are a collection of short stories and poems from the rather strange mind of Calvin Innes. Each Tiny Twisted Tale is about another weird, scary, wonderfully gruesome character, from people who eat bugs, to tiny toga-wearing goblins. Each book is packed with dozens of Calvin s quirky illustrations. Each tiny twisted tale has a moral of sorts, tightly wrapped in a twisted and creepy (and funny) tale. A short, humorous poem about a young girl who has no interest in anything girly . Instead Jenny loves everything scary and spooky. Jenny is not just a fan of scary things, she is in fact a werewolf hunting eight year old who, night after night, faces up to these big fightening creatures and defeats them. The werewolves in the story are scary, but still funny and little silly (much like very big dopey dogs). In fact Jenny eventually captures one and keeps it as a pet, by trapping it in the cat-flap on the back door to her house. Filled with humorous and spooky illustrations throughout.

She likes to go out - mostly at the stroke of midnight - and put the world to rights by largely ridding it of the all-too-well-known Werewolf menace (What s that? You didn t know the world was crawling with Loup-Garou? Perhaps you re in denial because you ARE one!) Jenny is like a one man (or should that be one-girl) Scooby Doo Gang, scared of absolutely nothing - even the biggest most slobber-chopped Werewolf in the world. These bite-sized little rhyming story books (also available on Kindle as well as in print) are deliciously dark, reminding us of cool stuff by Charles Addams and Edward Gorey.
