Emma Lawrence has always had an interest in the natural world, from exploring and collecting shells on the beaches of North Wales to pressing and drawing wildflowers as a child. She lives in the beautiful Shropshire countryside which provides plenty of inspiration for her drawings and stories. Whilst following a career as a Clinical Psychologist and working for the NHS for over 20 years, her continuing passion has been for art and illustration, particularly of the natural world. She loves to share her enthusiasm for nature, especially by encouraging and involving children to explore and enjoy themselves outside. Her first commissioned illustrations for a gardening book included a soil life cycle drawing which has received international interest. She produces a popular range of greetings cards and gifts featuring birds and animals.
A rhyming tale with fascinating facts about our precious wildlife, here slugs and snail.
