What if things are not going as planned? What do you do when your livelihood or your family’s well-being is threatened? How do you respond to sustained opposition from people determined to frustrate your progress? What if you are in need of a fresh vision and new direction? Life is a journey punctuated by seasons of crises. Many people search for the solutions in the wrong places, when they are right before their eyes. From the ancient text that answers the needs of all humanity, Emmanuel Mbakwe presents a message of timeless wisdom distilled from the life of Isaac, the central character, other notable Bible personalities, and figures from our contemporary world. Discover to Recover shows us how God wants to get through to each one of us with the solution to our problems. These solutions are all around us. All we need to do is to discover. Discover to Recover is a thought-provoking, inspirational and practical guide to help the reader overcome adversity, prosper in challenging circumstances; and move progressively to a place of fulfilment, marked by greater intimacy with God, inner peace, contentment, and outward calm.

Emmanuel Mbakwe is the national leader of the Apostolic Church, one of the UK’s leading Pentecostal denominations. Prior to taking up his current role in 2008, his bi-vocational career combined pastoral ministry in a local church in London, with business and management consultancy, working for and advising some of the world’s leading commercial organisations. A gifted communicator with an apostolic mandate, he speaks and writes with prophetic insight and clarity on the major issues of our day. His desire is to help people become all that God wants them to be, and our world transformed with the Good News of Jesus in a way that is relevant, credible and visible.
