Synopsis

Dancing has always played an important role in our lives. From the first teenage dance to letting our hair down on a Saturday night, it s a big part of who we are. Us Brits especially love it. It s the reason why millions tune in every weekend to watch celebrities taking to the dance floor on Strictly Come Dancing. Len Goodman, Head Judge on Strictly, is the perfect partner to sweep us off our feet and take us back in time to relive the many magical eras of dance. In Len s uniquely charming and entertaining way he invites us to reminisce, through rare images and golden memories, about our fabulous old ballrooms, classic songs and iconic movie moments. From the jazz age to the rise of rock n roll and disco and beyond, Len explores the social impact of dancing on people s daily lives and also tells the fascinating personal story of his own dancing career. "Are you dancing? Well, I m asking! Let me lead you on a journey back in time... It s Saturday night again. Is that our song they re playing?" Len Goodman
