Lucinda Ganderton is experienced in a wide range of crafts and is the author of several books that cover a variety of sewing techniques, including The Liberty Book of Home Sewing (Quadrille) and Creating Vintage Style (Ryland, Peters & Small). Her work features regularly in magazines and she has also appeared on television. After studying Fine Art Textiles at Goldsmiths College, London, Lucinda worked as a producer and art director in video and TV production. She then turned to creative writing and has now written or contributed to many books and magazines on needle crafts, textiles and lifestyle subjects.
