Synopsis

The Happy Hobgoblin is in a good place in his life but it wasn’t always so. He was once stuck between his own family – the Hobs and Goblins - who were at war. Their arguing left him angry and made his head hurt. It takes his wise friend Ken the Fox to understand what is happening and explain that his family are fighting due to fear and that Hobgoblin doesn’t need to choose a side. Hobgoblin decides to choose happiness for himself and learns ‘big’ feelings can go away. This is a book for younger readers, their teachers and parents, written in easy to understand rhyme with striking full-colour illustrations, set in the magical world of ‘Lifeland,’ and one of a series of six Finding Your Way books. Each book takes one of the six core emotions of happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise and disgust and aims to show the reader how to identify and manage the emotion they are feeling safely on their own or with the help of an adult.
