À propos de l'auteur

Toyin Taiwo is a British Nigerian writer and director, and co-founder of Story Pro an independent production company. She holds a BA in Drama & Applied Theatre from St Mary's University, Qualified Teacher status in English and Drama from the UCL Institute of Education and an MA in Filmmaking from Kingston University. Her writing has been longlisted for the Guardian 4th Estate Short Story Prize 2022 (Temitope Ajayi) and the Penguin Michael Joesph Undiscovered Writers Prize 2024 and she was a finalist for the Dubai International Cineverse Screenplay Award 2024. She directed the stage adaption of Eunice Chinda in 2025, performed at the Lagos Fringe Festival and Alliances Françaises Lagos, Nigeria. Her work involves creating relatable stories through books, theatre and film often for a cause, with a focus on women and youth development and inclusion in the arts and education.
