Like a lot of kids, Patrick is always ignoring tingling warnings from his bladder. But things take an unpleasant turn one day when he suffers an attack of the dreaded 'wet-pants’ at school. Embarrassed and upset by his leak, will he learn to conquer his bad habit?
The LEARNING FROM OUR MISTAKES series is a collection of short, poignant stories about kids with nasty habits. Readers will meet rude boys and smelly girls, all of them as real as the wind and the rain. These are the type of brats found in classrooms and playgrounds the world over. I’m sure you’ve met them already.
Kids and adults of all ages will find these tales fun. But please be aware young readers (and their parents) must possess a keen sense of toilet-humour to enjoy this book.

JA Kahn is a full-time father and author. Born in London, he now lives with his wife and four children in the another part of the country (location withheld due to his covert nature). He fills his spare time with reading (very slowly – he has just finished reading the 2nd book in the Game of Thrones series; it has taken him over 18 months). Besides writing, he also enjoys gardening, and DIY. In addition to the Learning From Our Mistakes Series, he has written The Dreadful Demise of Jake Walton (a chilling comedy-horror story for teen readers), and is currently working on a collection of monster stories (soon to be published). He also hopes to extend the Jake Walton series and has a sequel lined up.
