Synopsis

If the cross was the end of the story, we would have no hope. But the cross isn't the end. Jesus didn't escape from death, he conquered it. Peter Dawson's conviction that this is the stunning truth shines brightly in this gem of a book, as he shares sermons he has preached over a lifetime of walking with the Lord. He leads us through the events of Holy Week, to the foot of the cross, on to the empty tomb and beyond, to the Jesus who is among us today. With Biblical teaching, personal illustrations and good humour, these insightful and down-to-earth sermons supply encouragement aplenty for all who seek to find the relevance of the radical story of Jesus for their lives today.
