He also teaches at the University of Birmingham and Warwick Business School, UK, where he is the winner of several teaching excellence awards on the Warwick MBA Programme. Having authored the books Effective Multi-Unit Leadership (2012) and International Multi-Unit Leadership (2013), he is frequently called upon to commentate upon retail issues within the UK media.
