Synopsis

In response to countless requests, The Good Schools Guide is launching two completely new editions of its long-established guide. Focusing just on the capital, The Good Schools Guide: London North and London South (covering the areas on either side of the river) provide parents with our trademark straight-talking reviews of the best London independent and state schools. Compact enough to read in bed or tuck into a large pocket, yet still packed with maps, reviews, articles and, for the first time, colour photographs, the new guides will be invaluable to parents navigating the fiercely competitive and stretched London education system. The only impartial guide to London schools north of the river; Features fully-revised, in-depth reviews of over 200 schools to help parents make an informed choice; Covers junior and senior schools, independent and state; All schools personally visited and scrutinised; Each school carefully chosen: no school can pay to be in the Guide; Provides strategies for choosing and getting into a London school - independent or state; Describes the different areas north of the river - what it's like to live there and the educational landscape. Invaluable for new arrivals and long-term residents alike; Includes valuable advice on fees, entry requirements, school atmosphere, academic rigour, SEN and more -
