Biographie de l'auteur

Georgie Oldfield MCSP is a UK-based physiotherapist and founder of SIRPATM (Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association). Her approach has evolved from the pioneering work of New York professor, John E Sarno MD, who developed the concept of TMS (Tension Myoneural Syndrome) in the 1970s. From her clinics in Yorkshire and London she has enabled hundreds of people living with chronic pain regain their zest for life while becoming active and pain free. Apart from her clinical work Georgie gives talks and writes widely about her work and in 2010 developed the first course worldwide to train health professionals interested in integrating the SIRPA approach and the concept on which it is based within their own work.
