Synopsis

Griff is a dog made of stone. By day he sits in Mrs. McGuillycuddy’s garden, but each night he comes to life, and goes on adventures with his friend Samson the cat. He makes friends with a small boy called Tyler, a couple of lost pigeons, two squabbling squirrel brothers and other animals. He has a fight with a vicious dog, chases off two cheeky rabbits and deals with the despicable Mr. Saybin.

À propos de l?auteur

Mogs has lived in the Black Country all his life. Originally from Halesowen, he now lives in Stourbridge. Mogs was educated at Halesowen C of E and then at Halesowen Grammar School. Armed with 3 'O' Levels he began work at the MEB in 1973 as a Computer Operator. In 1989 he was diagnosed with an eye condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa and In 2003 was given early retirement. He had managed to walk into and shatter a shatterproof glass door. He now spends his days writing and being dragged round shops and National Trust places. Mogs is a renowned poet in the West Midlands spoken word community and has written two books for children, both chock full of his special brand of humour (published by Black Pear Press).
