Published in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Today... and Tomorrow is a forward thinking, multi-contributor collection that examines a range of current issues in mental health while also looking to the future - where things are heading and where we might want them to go. It provides a comparative view of how things are done around the UK and beyond, explores the role of language used in mental health care and the use of technology, and offers some predictions for the future of services.
Mental Health Today... and Tomorrow explores relevant topics across the whole lifespan, with chapters examining early interventions and mental health and wellbeing within school settings, mental health in the workplace, and finally the issues faced as people enter later life. Expert contributors to this volume include Paula Lavis, Isabella Goldie, Simon Lawton-Smith, Andy Bell, Anne Beales, Lily Makurah and Sarah Stewart-Brown.
