Synopsis

How do you punish a man who feels nothing?

Obadiah Stark has murdered twenty-seven people.

He feels no guilt. No remorse. No sympathy for the families watching as he is strapped to a gurney and executed for his crimes.

To Stark, morality is simply a weakness suffered by other people...

Then he opens his eyes.

He is alive.

The world around him is familiar, yet impossible. A woman he doesn't know calls herself his wife. A little girl believes he is her father. And everyone seems to know a version of Obadiah Stark that has never existed.

Something has happened to him.

Something that death cannot explain.

And for the first time in his existence, The Tally Man is about to discover that there may be something far more terrifying than dying.

Feeling.

The Tally Man is a dark, provocative psychological thriller about evil, punishment, empathy and whether even the worst among us can change.

"Hannibal Lecter-esque... it will keep you turning pages until the shocking climax."
— Steve Alten, bestselling author of MEG
