Rosemary Coates studied at the Ruskin School of Fine Art and Drawing, Oxford University. Famous for her paintings of domestic animals, her maps of UK racecourses and hunting countries, she lives in Northamptonshire.

Her motto 'Have paintbrush, will travel' has taken her across the UK and Ireland.often sits on her shoulder.
