Allan Sefton has been a passionate angler for more years than he cares to remember. He has fished from the Arctic to the equator but gets the greatest pleasure from introducing newcomers of all ages to the sport.

When he retired after a challenging public service career he became a licensed Level Two angling coach and has since introduced many to the joy of fishing.

He believes the sport has wide-ranging appeal and is available to all. Going fishing is a vital escape from the pressures of the technological age.

Allan wants youngsters to become part of our natural environment rather than mere spectators.
