Andy Warhol is one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. The Hall Foundation holds around 140 works by Andy Warhol in their expansive collection. It covers all eras of Warhol's career, from the early 1960s up to the year before his death in 1987. Sir Norman Rosenthal is an independent curator and art historian. Among his many achievements, he was Exhibitions Secretary at the Royal Academy for over thirty years. Eric Shriner is the Director of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Alexander Sturgis is the Director of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
