Sexuality and Learning Disabilities is a best-selling handbook firmly grounded in research and best practice. It covers a wide range of topics relevant to sexuality support for people with learning disabilities including pregnancy and contraception, relationships and the Internet, masturbation, harmful sexual behaviours and supporting people with learning disabilities who identify as LGBT. The second edition brings the material fully up to date with legal changes, contemporary issues and new approaches to supporting relationships and sexuality. It is accessible for staff occupying many roles, for example support workers and managers in learning disability service settings, supported housing, community learning disability teams, social workers, students in health and social care and any professional who may find themselves supporting a person with a learning disability.
