Synopsis

As we continue the theme of prayer in Words of ?Life, this edition specifically looks a 'The Art of Prayer'. After first considering particular prayers in the bible, we become aware of prayers to the Almighty in Jeremiah and Lamentations, then in some of the minor prophets' writings. In the New Testament we reflect on Paul's prayers for the Ephesians and Thessalonians, before concluding with the inspiring Letter to the Hebrews. Our guest series for Advent is written by Retired General Paul Rader and Commissioner Kay Rader. May God help us see the beautiful art in every prayer offered, as we lift our hearts in adoration and praise of the Lord.
