Synopsis

This revision book is an aid to those preparing for the FRCS General Surgery Section 1. The topics and chapters are taken directly from the Intercollegiate Surgical Curriculum. Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon working at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Roland Fernandes trained at St George's University of London before surgical training in the KSS and Wessex Deaneries. Academically he has over 35 publications covering a wealth of surgical topics. He has also undertaken various leadership roles and is an examiner for medical school examinations.
